Throwley Fete

Annual village fete is held on the green at Throwley Forstal on the first Saturday of June.  It is a great family and community event, usually consisting of two parts:

  • traditional village fete with various stalls, activities, bar and catering in the afternoon;

  • village party with life music, bar and catering in the evening.

The programme in recent years followed that formula.  In some of the previous years we also had a Throwley social evening on the Friday night before the Fete.

The proceeds from the Fete are donated to Friends of Throwley Church and other charities.

For details, pictures and reports from the recent fetes, please see the sub-pages.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, Throwley Fete was cancelled in 2020 and 2021. Regular Fetes  restarted in 2022.

We are always looking for volunteers to help in the organisations of the Fete.  If you would like to help or contribute with some ideas, please contact the Fete Committee
